I ate here a few months ago, and while the food did not live up to the expectation of the price, it was nonetheless fantastic food. We had a 5-course meal that included a very rich lobster bisque, a somewhat average salad, and a couple other incredible seafood dishes. It's in a charming old house in a picturesque part of...

A little pricey, but a great place for a special occasion such as your anniversary her birthday etc. she'll love you for the extra effort
Special place in a special area. Rt 6A in Brewster is lovely and this restaurant fits right in. Old world Cape Cod atmosphere.
Chillingsworth reminds me of nothing so much as a Michelin starred restaurant in the French countryside. Our dinner in the main dining room was simply outstanding. My appetizer of an oyster on puff pastry plus an oyster shooter was one of the more unique and delicious dishes that I have ever had. My wife's selection of an appetizer of shrimp...

We brought my wife for her 50th birthday celebration and ate in the main dining area. We had a beautiful fire and room all to ourselves for a party of seven. After several phone calls back and forth and confusion (theirs) about arrival time, we made a reservation for 6:00. We arrived a few minutes early and were greeted by a charming waiter who was quickly and condescendingly pushed aside by the host, a brute in a peculiar suit, who seated us at the table we had requested in the bistro...

We arrived expecting french food...first mistake but no big deal, we eat any good food. Arrived at 6:58 for a 7;00 o'clock fine dining reservation and were told by the obnoxious host they weren't seating yet and we should have a seat in the bar - which was full of people eating at the "bistro." The wait was blessedly brief....
