On a recent visit, this place was overwhelmed by a “normal” weekend crowd. Service was terrible, slow, and the wait staff had an attitude that screamed incompetence. If you’re going to work in the service industry, you might want to sharpen your inter-personal skills. The food was generally good, but nothing compared to the raves you read all the time.... More

We were in Maryland for a wedding1 and also visited some friends and relatives. I was really looking forward to some local seafood, but there was none: Louisiana crabs and oysters, Arctic Haddock, “Atlantic Cod” (not really), and salmon. What a disappointment! Other surprises included: [1] most restaurants close at 8 pm, when they would not be getting started well... More

My wife says these are the best crab cakes on the Chesapeake Bay. If you like seafood, just order these. They come in 5 oz or 10 oz sizes, and the price varies by market. Another option is to order a salad with a 5 oz. cake added. This was $15.95 on 4/22/12. My wife also likes the seafood chowder:... More

The food was under seasoned, cold, and just not worth the prices.

I am not a seafood eater, but everyone else in my family is. My son likes their crab cakes and my husband likes pretty much any seafood they serve. The service is usually pretty good. The view is wonderful as it is right on the water. My problem at seafood restaurants is always finding something for the "land lubber" on... More

The crab cakes are the only food we went for and they were the best. Made with lump crab meat but a little pricey but worth it!

Solomons is a lovely area not really overrun with tourists. It has quiet feeling that older seaside communities are lucky to retain. This restaurant sits along the water's edge and serves up some excellent seafood. In the warmer season, boaters come in to eat.

If you are looking for delicious Maryland crab cakes, go to Stoney's on Solomon's Island, Maryland. About an hour south of Annapolis, it's well worth the trip. There is also a beautiful outdoor deck for dining right on the water.

Went here because the menu had enough variety to satisfy everyone. It was pretty crowded and one of the people in the party wanted to sit outside. I guess everyone wanted to because there were several tables open inside but the line was for the outside tables! It was an extremely pleasant evening and it was nice to have a... More
