I'm only going to rate the food I ate because the show was decent, and at times very funny. The staff was friendly but was not educated on what they were serving. The hors d'oeuvre tasted like they were bought at Sam's and reheated. The buffet was horrible, the roast beef was cold, the breaded catfish cold, the caned corn... More

My mother and I were passing through on a bus tour to Washington D.C. when we stopped here for lunch. Our tour gave us two options: fish or fried chicken. I opted for the chicken which turned out to be the best choice to make. Normally I am not a fried chicken person, I find that most places put the... More

I was very impressed when I had a surprise dinner for my mother's 60th birthday. The place over all is very clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was AMAZING!!! Please try their fried chicken. You get so much of it Everything came out nice and hot and their alcoholic beverages were just what the doctor... More

The best Dinner Theatre experience I have had in the DC area. The current show, "Dead Write" is hilarious. There was a lot of crowd participation and the actors were extremely funny. Overall I give the show a 10. You will enjoy it! The $50 is a small price to pay for a great show and good food. The service... More

We went to the murder mystery dinner on February 25, 2012 at Blair Mansion. Seating was reserved and we lucked out to be seated with a nice couple from Virginia for the evening. The wait staff was at our table immediately and the entire staff was very polite and accomodating the entire evening. They were constantly coming by with varied... More

If you enjoy the old-world Victorian era you'll defintely enjoy Blair. Ive visited this restaurant for a wedding and a very long time ago for the dinner theater they host which was lovely. The food was well prepared and very flavorful. As the restaurant is off the beaten path it is a Silver Spring gem.

We went on a Saturday night to see the murder mystery. We weren't expecting much of the food, and that's what we got. For the mystery you get a buffet of things like succotash, potatoes, fried chicken, broiled fish and roast beef. The ambiance---an old mansion--- is quite nice. Plenty of parking----private and on-street. The mystery was fun. If you... More

Sunday, October 9, 2011 was my aunt's 86th birthday, and we searched the Internet looking for just the right place, to take her for a memorable birthday celebration. We selected Blair Mansion In Silver Spring, Md., based on the rating from various websites - not a GOOD IDEA! We arrived around 2:45 p.m., or so and there were no people... More

We had visitied Blair Mansion on each trip to Silver Spring while planning our daughter's wedding. The food and service was always excellent, and we found the historical home to be very intriguing. We decided this had to be the location of the rehearsal dinner. Working with Grant was such a pleasure. The dinner was perfect. All the guests were... More
