Has the looks, feel and ambience of a special hot dog shop. A great place to grab an inexpensive lunch while touring this historic town. Loved the chili, ordered two but had to step up for a third!

Every once in a while you just want a Coney Island Hot Dog! If that's what you are looking for, this is the place! It's not pretty, it's not incredibly comfortable but it is interesting and the dog's are good. The prices are perfect for feeding your whole gangland it's quick! Super quick.
You just gotta try them at least once. The sauce on the dogs is delicious. Been serving Cumberland since I can remember and that's a long time..
Very good hot dogs and fries, plus a unique local flare, if somewhat 'rustic,' shall we say, and very reasonably price, made for a good, quick lunch for my wife and I. The only I'd change, other than maybe some fresh paint and some spiffing up, would be to take the 'Root' out of the 'Beer!'

Absolutely the best chili dogs on Earth!!!!!!!! We will gladly drive 3 hours for them. My husband once ate 8 plus a half gallon of buttermilk! My family even has them shipped for my uncle's birthday.
I love trying hot dog shops and have been to my share around the country. Found this place on the net and gave it a try. To start with Cumberland is a very nice quiant town and Curtis's adds to the charm. The place is very clean and dressed out with old photos of the area. A definite local hang...

Coney island style hotdogs. I grew up on Curtises hotdog and love them. My husband will not sleep next to me for a week after a visit to the place because the onions are so strong. But you can watch them put 2 or 3 hotdogs on their arm and dress the buns. Get them with brown mustard, chili sauce,...

Upon arriving back in town, following several years overseas, this was the place I wanted to first visit. Weiners and sauce are delicious, but the price has gone up tremendously. I'll still go back!
