Have driven by for a long time, wanting to try, and finally did last night. Staff is friendly and "know their stuff" whether wine or small plates. Lovely, warm decor, outside fire pit if weather permits. A top spot in Kennebunk/Kennebunkport.

Great food. Eveything was delicious and fresh and the service is incredibly friendly and you feel like you've been going there for years. Wish I had

My husband and I live in NY and love the variety of cocktails available, this bar has by far the best cocktail list we have seen outside of NY, the bar tender was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.

Weekend getaway with my wife, and we were not interested in the usual seafood fish shack nor something overly fancy and pretentious. Very happy with Old Vines. Great food, great drinks, great service / staff. Could use some simple chocolate desserts to make it perfect. No TVs, so the Red Sox were not a constant distraction. Glad to have stopped... More

We went a little on the early side and took our teen age children and had a great time. The food was delicious and the staff was very honest about when questioned on a few items. There wasn't a huge menu, but enough that we all had choices and left feeling full and satisfied. It was awesome to get to... More

This restaurant was recommended to us & we were glad we followed this advice. We checked the menu & tried to decide on a bottle of wine to accomodate our choices with the help of the bartender who directed us to a wonderful bottle of reisling the went with both the meatloaf panini & shrimp with chorizo. I loved the... More

Since when is it alright to treat your patrons as though they are lucky to be at your restaurant. Gerry and I ate here in November. The food and service was great but there was a level of arrogance afloat. This time around the food was less than appetizing, the wine was worm and the two men tending bar were... More

You have to visit this bar when you're in the area. The small plates are huge with flavor. Cured meats, cheese and olives are my favorite starters. After that it just gets better. I have enjoyed the homemade meatloaf panini with their coarse ground mustard. (also made there) I have yet to be disappointed with any of the wines I've... More

If the atmosphere doesn't capture you, all the nibbles will. The place is warm and cozy and the staff are very affable. The menu is up front with limited selections, but Old Vines focuses on quality as ALL items are excellent!

We have often visited for cocktails with friends. They often have a fire outside. It's a great place to chat with friends. Scott makes great cocktails and rotates the beer and wine menu regularly. We visited with a group of six friends during Christmas prelude. We had such an enjoyable meal. One of our friends s pregnant and our sever... More
