Extremely fresh tasting good quality food, service can be slow at times but overall a great choice for Chinese/Sushi. Definitely best in downeast.

Great food, excellent prices and, depending on the server~ great service. Beautiful atmosphere! Their shrimp is the best around. A definite when passing through or local haunt. Fun cocktails!

I ordered the vegetable combo which included vegetables with jumbo shrimp and garlic sauce ( which I had on the side as there can be too much when mixed in), fried rice, egg roll and cut up fresh fruit. Everything was piping hot and delicious and the generous portions enabled me to have the leftovers for lunch the following day!

they have the best sushi around, The pad Tai is great, calamari salad. My favorite is the out of control roll!

we were in E llsworth for4 days recently and tried lots of places to eat while we were there.Shinbashi was our favorite by far..varied menu prerpared and cooked to perfection as far as we were concerned..prices were reasonable and the service was very god..very comfortable and roomy seating..a great treat from fried food and pizza..hope to go back soon

Being a local, I was very happy when Shinbashi opened because we are always looking for new restaurants to experience. I absolutely love the sesame chicken, and the house lo mein. The rock shrimp tempura appetizer is very good, as well. The only downside to this very delicious restaurant is the people that work there... Most cannot speak English well... More
