This meal began with the best French onion soup I've had in many years. It moved on to the best filet mignon with Boursin sauce and ended with a chocolate sundae. Our server and hostess were as elegant as their surroundings, to which our server Jen added a voice and presence as satisfying as Michelle Dockery's on Downton Abbey. So... More

We had dinner at Bayview 57 with friends last night. WOW! The braised lamb shank cassoulet is amazing!! Oh, and that's only if you have room left after having the mac and cheese appetizer! The scallops were done to perfection, which not everyone can do. And on that note, the risotto that was served with the scallops was done perfectly...... More

We were seated outdoors on a warm August night. There was fun music playing and our service and food were good value and great tasting. We'll definitely return.

Had a welcoming atmosphere, and the service was great. The food was delicious. I had pork loin and it was cooked perfectly.

A wonderfully relaxed evening with great food and really nice people There was a wonderful selection of light bites and salads as well as more substantial items. Nice seating arrangements and two bar areas as well as some outside balconies make for a spacious and well-presented dining experience

We ate here on the night of the first presidential debate which made us wonder if everyone had stayed in to watch as the place was empty. It was real pity as there was no atmosphere. The waitress very good and attentive although we were the only customers. The food and service were good but the experience was a little... More

My wife and I had a wonderful meal at 57 Bayview. Lynn, both waitress and bartender, was super despite being very busy. The lobster risotto was the special and was excellent -- the best risotto I have ever had. The blueberry crisp was a great end for a great meal. The restaurant is attractive and intimate. Parking was available on... More

This lovely older home turned restaurant is warm and inviting from the minute you step through the door. The owners serve as chef and server, along with a friend of theirs who serves and plays bartender. You could not ask for better service, although it is all handled by these two lovely ladies. The food was delicious. I had the... More

Lovely, quaint, and friendly! Food was supreme. Loved the beet salad and salmon entree. Cream brûlée Outstanding. It was a pleasure meeting Jessica. Couldn't have had a more accommodating server.
