We stopped in to eat here because the hotel we were staying at was awful, it was nice to get a friendly staff with a sense of humor to make part of our stay in Bethel a little better. Food was great! I would eat here again if I went back to this area.

Low key, consistently good and dependable fare...if you want fancy this is not the place for you...if you are in the mood for chicken pie, meatloaf, pot roast or any other comfort food this is the place to go. We eat here at least twice a month when we are in town and never miss a chance to go when... More

We were very happy with the food. The fried pickles were excellent. The soup, salad and entrees were good sized portions. The kids meals were excellent. The kids fish n chips was a large portion. The service was friendly but would have expected her to return to the table shortly after serving the meal. Otherwise it was a great experience... More

We ahd a very pleasant casual dinner at Rooster's.ervice was very good and the staff didn't make us feel hurried. The food was ok, but inconsistant, stick to American fare.

Not for a romantic dinner out, but the food was well-prepared and fresh, and the menu had enough choices for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. It's an interesting crazily- decorated place with a rooster-costumed person roaming around (but not obnoxiously). Good for groups and families with kids.

We went to Roosters while on a ski trip tp Sunday River. The kids loved it because of all the choices. The prices are reasonable and the staff very friendly.

When in Maine, you *have* to get lobster! (well, if it’s your thing!) My b ’friend & I took the Metro bus to the Rooster Roadhouse which dropped us off RIGHT in front of the building. Once in, the decor is welcoming & fun! We went upstairs to get a drink at the bar while we waited for our friends... More

After a couple of less that stellar visits to a couple of local establishments, I decided to try this place. It had gotten very good press in the "Best of Bethel" survey. I arrived around 5:00PM Friday night and took a seat at the upstairs bar and was immediately waited on by a friendly bartender and procured a cold Bud... More
