So sad to see it closed and for sale. Owner had health issues. It never really took off but the food was great

We dined there for the first time and we will be regulars. The peach BBQ ribs were as good or better than any I've had. Eggplant Napoleon was just plain awesome and Jami who was our server was on her game. We were treated like royalty.

I can only say good things about this place. Divine food and great service. Romantic atmosphere. Needs more advertising though. The chef is from Commanders palace.

we visited this restaurant after a noon swamp cruise that ended around 2. We had enjoyed an early breakfast of beignets before leaving NOLA in the morning and we were starving by the time we arrived. The menu was surprisingly diverse and very affordable. Several in our party ordered the PoBoys which are huge, on authentic fresh bread, and served... More

Read others' reviews and decided to stop by. I wasn't disappointed. It's a few miles off the interstate but worth the trip. I had the fried chicken and red beans and rice, the Wed special. Very tasty--I didn't even have to season the red beans and rice. Portions were large and relatively inexpensive--less than $15 for a very full, happy... More

We stopped by Le Cafe De Bon Temps on our way back to NOLA from a plantation tour. We happened in on a Thursday and it was $10 Fried Chicken. One of us is gluten - free and they accommodated him with a combo fresh/baked oyster dish that he loved. The other three of us had the fried chicken and... More
