I came to Louisville to see my grandaughter dance in a recital. The recital was at the Brown Theatre. As a treat we decided to eat at the J Morgan in the Brown Hotel. We ordered and they brought the adults food before the childrens. The hamburger they brought to my granddaughter was wrong so we sent it back. It... More

Ate the French toast rolled in rice krispies. Excellent! Our waitress could not have been nicer! Great overall selection!

I ordered Half-Turkey Club with a fruit cup, as did another guest with me. The sandwich was absolutely delicious, with texas toast-style bread and thick-cut bacon. The fruit "cup" was huge and contained a great assortment of melon, fresh sweet pineapple, huge strawberries and perfect blueberries.

Ok so admittedly the hype was from one person highly recommending the Hot Brown at the Brown Hotel. My colleagues and I travel to Louisville once sometimes twice a year for business and we take our client's restaurant recommendations every single time. The Hot Brown was on the lunch buffet so we went for it. He was right again. Everything... More

We have been eating Mother's Day brunch at J Graham's for a number of years. And while it was good this year, it wasn't nearly as good as in the past. Some of the good items on the buffet were, Omelets, Caprese Salad, Blue Cheese Potatoes, Carved Rib Eye, and all the desserts. The items that weren't very good were,... More

While the rest of my stay in Louisville was frought with frustration - our breakfast experience at J. Grahams was easy and delicious! The items on the breakfast buffet are unique, delicious and fresh. The juice was especially tasty. We would definitely visit again! The servers were very attentive and polite.

That's it. You have to get a hot brown. Had one back before my gluten-free days and loved it. My fussy hubby had one this time even though he was sure he wouldn't like it. HE LOVED IT.

If you have never had a Kentucky Hot Brown, get ready for something delicious. The first time I tried this decadent sandwich was at Bobby Flay's restaurant in New York. I found out from this Kentucky originator of the hot brown that Bobby challenged them to a throw down. They won the throw down. This sandwich is made with big... More

Service here is immediate and attentive without being overbearing. The food is pretty good and typically priced for such a hotel restaurant. Not a bad experience.

They lost our reservation for Easter brunch and made us sit at the bar just to get breakfast, even though many tables were open and it was still over 45 minutes before the first brunch seating.
