Large portions, a half order is to much food for a normal person. Great apps, and over all decent food, just not as great as people have reviewed the location.
Positives: - Great fresh, hand-prepared food - Ample portions - Wide variety of dishes - Knowledgeable, helpful wait staff - Classic location - Extended hours Negatives: - None observed We'd read reviews about Martinelli's Little Italy and hoped to try them during an overnight stay in Salina. However, we arrived in town toward the end of the day and were... More
If you are staying over in Salina, get there early enough to have dinner here. Nice little spot that we weren't expecting in Salina (no offense Salina people). We are from The Hill in St. Louis and don't really go out for Italian very often (especially not in the middle of KS). Martinelli's was a nice surprise. They were able... More
We went to this place after reading reviews on trip advisor. We were traveling from Colorado to Missouri and we had been on the road for many hours and we really wanted to go to a sit down restaurant and relax. When we got there they said it would be a 30-45 min wait, I really didn't want to wait... More
Do yourself a favor and plan your trip around a dinner at Martinelli's Little Italy in Salina Kansas. Yes, that's Salina! Great ambiance with rustic Italian village decor. Light tomato sauces and don't skip the home made Italy sausage.... the best I have even tasted... better than anyplace I have found in Dallas or even in Italy! Charming service and... More

We walked in, were shown to our table and the bread was on the table even before our butts even hit the seats. Our delightful waitress brought menus and asked if we had ever been there before. Then she told us about the... More

We stopped here as a special treat after a long day of traveling. We got there only about 30 minutes before they closed but they treated us very nicely, not like we were an inconvenience at all. With 15 minutes we were the only customers left. Our waitress chatted with us a little bit and was very nice. The food... More
