We went with a party of 11 and they handled the last minute walk in beautifully. Good food, very friendly service, and nice private room for our big group. We would definitely return if in hays again

My family ordered a beef chimichanga, chicken quesadillas, and the Tomas platter. We were served two salsas with our chips. One was mildly spicy. The other was like eating tomato sauce (no heat). Poor, poor, poor hamburger, catsup, and cheese. Nothing great here, you can buy better food in the frozen food section at Wal-Mart.

We were travelling on our way to Colorado Springs and stumbled into Gutierrez for lunch. We had a great selection from the lunch menu and our food was good. The service was excellent.

Terrible service, terrible margs, orders were wrong, and I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Might as well get a tv dinner from Wal-Mart down the street if your going for authentic Mexican food. The service and atmosphere are suburb without question but they need to change their menu line up. I understand its Kansas but we don't have to cook Mexican food like Kansas invited it.

Don't miss this one. Great food, good friendly service and quick. Have eaten here 3 times and would not miss it on our trips thru Kansas. We actually plan a stay here to eat here.

The salsa is fantastic, I purchase some everytime I pass through Hays. The food is also good and the atmosphere and price are just right. Not necessarily authentic Mexican, but good nonetheless.
