Nothing spectacular and at these prices, you need spectacular; not just ordinary food.

The owners are courtly and solicitous, always treating you like a special guest. They have a drink called a "sayonara" that is fabulous! I would recommend the grill-side tappan style preparation as they do a very nice job. Much better than Benihana.

had to go to experience someone cooking right in front of you, but not a fan of that kind of food. Make sure u don't have anywere to go after you leave or bring a change of clothes.... u smell like the place after leaving... and it's strong..

I am eating Taiko as we speak and I have nothing but good things to say. The "fruit" in the salad was great! The chicken eggdrop soup was sooo good! The sushi, hands down, the BEST I have ever eaten. Fantasy roll was incresible! And the service was over the top!! 5 stars!!!!

Sushi was very good but service was slow and unfriendly. Forgot half of our ordered. Pricey too. Recommending but only because the sushi was delicious. You would think with all the people looking for jobs restaurants could find more qualified wait staff.
