On a trip last year I decided to find a lesser known place amd stumbled upon the McKinley Street Tsverne...excellent across the board and rich in history. I make it a point to stop anytime I am in Clinton and go out of my way at times to visit

We eat at McKinley Street Tavern whenever we come to Clinton. Great food, well prepared and served. Reasonable prices. I especially like the 'frog's legs'. A real treat!

Very unique building built in the 1870's. Local / historical decor with a friendly staff. Apparently the building was once a door manufacturer.
