The sweet potato pancakes on the menu are very very good. Nice and clean and a very nice staff. Worst coffee around but that can be disguised with a bit if cream, sugar and water.
This was the best Denny's we've ever eaten at. The waiter was friendly and did everything right. The food was good and was served very quickly. Not the typical Denny's..... located in an old "looking" building right in downtown French Lick. And, of course, you can get everything from breakfast to lunch to dinner anytime for a reasonable price.
As another reviewer noted, I don't usually eat at Denny's, but went here for breakfast with family on a Saturday while in town, and it was good, clean, hot coffee, decent food, all the things you would hope a Denny's would be but usually isn't. The menu is standard Denny's, but it was fresh, the fruit was good. It is... More
We don't normally eat at Denny's as we have never had a good experience with that restaurant, but this one was different. Food was good, support staff were friendly, and restaurant was nice and clean. They were slammed due to the Block Bash, but handled the situation with grace and charm. We would eat at this Denny's again.
And everything was about as you would expect at a Denny's. While it may not do you much good, we found the service here much better than you would find over at a place like Sinclair's.
Chain restaurant located across the street from the French Lick Springs hotel. Predictable menu options and alternative for breakfast, lunch or dinner with range of prices and choices for locals, families and tourists. Nothing outstanding about the coffee shop decor, service or food presentation or taste but convenient and less expensive than on site resort choices. Discount for AARP members... More
Went in on Saturday evening with our two kids... We were seated quickly and ordered quickly. After that it all goes down hill. We waited over 45 minutes and the waitress kept coming by and apologizing for the wait. After she came back several times she came to our table and said it was going to be another 45 minutes.... More
Had the "build 4" breakfast using a coupon from the Louisville Sunday paper- $5 off $15 then the waitress asked if we had an AARP card- took 20% more off that! Ended up with two breakfasts for $10! Good breakfast also.
The food was delicious, the waitress worked with my gluten and dairy free needs and accommodated, not only my needs, but also the needs of my very hungry and whiny four year old. She distracted the four year old with a pre-meal, healthy snack while we waited on our orders to be prepared. I would visit this restaurant again.
