We visited for breakfast after seeing this restaurant reviewed on a TV show called Chicago's Best My husband got the stuffed French toast with blueberries. Three huge pieces, which some came home because there was too much to finish. I got the sampler, which included banana bread french toast, one piece of stuffed toast with blackberries on it and two... More

This place is always crowded, but the wait is never too long and it is always worth the wait. The food is plentiful and real home cooking. It feels like you are eating at Grandma's. The owner is very friendly and always makes a point of thanking you for coming in whether it is going from table to table to... More

Huge variety of breakfast, extra-large portions, wonderful food in a timely fashion. Highly recommend and will be back for sure if we ever are in the area again.

Went on a Sunday Morning (very busy), so we had to deal with the morning rush. The service was goodm, spotty in some parts, but nothing to ruin the visit. The food (portions/taste) was definitely the best bang for your buck. $4.00 roughly for meals off of the kiddie menu that had portion sizes that could feed an adult!!! I... More

Large portions of good food. A little pricey for breakfast but you get plenty to eat for your money. Everything we had was great!

First time there. Ordered and was 100% disappointed. Food was warm, if that. And There was supposed to be sausage gravy on it, NOTHING. When told about it the waitress looked like a deer in headlights. Left the food there uneaten. When I told the receptionist she apologized and said "Well, we are busy on Sunday mornings. The place was... More

My husband and I went on a recent Sunday. Getting there before nine a.m. was a good idea. We had a short wait, about 5 minutes. No wait for the coffee once we were seated, which is key for us. Waitress was business like at first, but then friendlier as the meal went along. I had the French toast sampler... More

Good breakfast items, lunch items are mediocre. Soups are excellent. The waitresses can be a bit sour and non friendly, I guess its just a job to them. I just think their prices are too high for breakfast, their portions are large. Excellent pancakes, crepes and waffles.
