Went with the husband. Both our meals were so hot from the microwave they burnt our mouths. Tasty enough but the vegetables were frozen. Disappointed with the food although service friendly. We had fish pie and Rabbit pie.

Eight of us gathered for a Sunday roast and were very pleased with the selection and service. Roasts were some of the best in the area, even the fish pie was outstanding. We are so happy that the restaurant has been re-energized with really good food and drink. Nice atmosphere and location is away from the madding crowd.

Food is consistently good and very good value, particularly at lunchtime. The chef-patron obviously loves his job and takes a real interest in his customers. Our vegan guest was welcomed warmly and given a specially prepared and delicious meal. Welcoming atmosphere, delicious food & great value....and the best fish pie for miles around!

Our second visit to The Highway Man and yet again, amazing quality food. £19.95 for 3 courses is excellent, not the cheapest but good quality food expertly cooked shouldn't be.
