It's better than Olive Garden :-) but definitely not worth the prices they charge. Also at the bar, you might feel out of place if you're not in the "clique"..

We ahve dined many a times at the Grotto in Oakbrook, IL. The food is good and the offer holiday brunch specials. Our favorite part is sitting outside overlooking the lake litening to music as bands play.

Great food & service in a very nice atmosphere. Not a stuffy or pretensious restaurant. Has live entertainment on the week-ends which is hard to find anywhere. Terrific outside patio! Have eaten here on several occasions, including Sunday brunch, which is simply wonderful! (all you can eat crab claws!!) Will go again & again.

the grotto is a iItalian steak house of the Chicago old school staeak houses . Great food faboulous steaks and on the weekend a band plays on the Terrace overlooking a pond. Great venue and location. It by far is one of my picks for a great night out

Be careful when you go to the bar! I ordered a drink on the rocks (what they refer to as a "well" drink). The first bartender charged me $8 (a very reasonable price).
