Most are familiar with this chain - nothing out of the ordinary EXEPT that they have a little outdoor kids playground. My mom, my aunt and I came to this restaurant in November 2012. The food was great but, the male server we had brought us our food and never came back to check on us until we flagged him down to pay the bill :(. Great food but, poor service :(.

The staff was great. Very friendly, they even started dancing but the food left something to be desired. It was way too heavily seasoned for my taste. I would go back there to sit at the bar and have a few drinks but wouldn't return to eat!

Four of us take a trip to Chicago twice a year and Joe's is the new place on our itinerary! The place is light hearted and fun, with wait staff dancing every hour or so. The food is great and there is a lot to choose from. We will definitely be back!

We love the concept and philosophy of Joe's Crab Shack, which is why we've given it several chances. The problem is the food has not been good and the service has followed suit. We'll probably try it again next year to see if they have it together yet.
