Our favorite restaurant in Galena, IL. There Wiener Schnitzel or Sauerbraten is to die for. Some really good french entrees as well. And of course, the frites are outstanding !!!

Dined for dinner Saturday of Mother's Day Weekend. Excellent waiter who offered knowlegable wine suggestions. He made sure the meal was brought out in a timely manner, no rush, not all at one time. Excellent service. Food was excellent. We had a variety of menu items and all were delicious. This place is high quality and I will definitely go...

My husband and I decided to getaway for an overnight and golf in Galena. We stayed out of town at the Eagle Ridge Inn, and headed downtown for a quick lunch. F&F is at the end of Main Street downtown, and turned out to be a unique choice for lunch. The menu is a mix of French (think quiche, escargots,...

Fabulous food! French bistro decor and ambiance close to authentic. We sat by the window and were able to do some people watching from behind the tulle curtains which were white and crisp.
I would highly recommend this restaurant. The food and service were both very good. We will be going back again for sure. Only complaint is it get pretty loud when the restaurant is full but I don't care- I will be happy to return. We had the brie, ratatouille, steak and german chocolate cake- all done correctly.
Stopped by for a late lunch, excellent service. We both had soup and split a salad, all was excellent. Highly recommend.
Great service, great atmosphere, excellent food. I'm not one for German but my husband ordered the veal and it was out of this world! I had the steak frites and it was also excellent. Their bread, hot out of the oven, incredible. Don't miss this out of the way spot on Main Street. We thought it was a good value...

Great service, very attentive staff. The chicken is fabulous but the menu is pricey.. So be warned.. (1/2 chicken takes 30 minutes to cook and costs $18.00, this comes with a hay stack of thin little fries.) Would love if they would drop their prices just a few dollars. I wasn't full after dinner and ordered dessert for the table....

Lovely bistro atmosphere. Food is wonderful. For an appetizer we ordered the mussels in white wine with garlic & herbs....magnificent. My entree was a "Bistro Specialty": Tilapia Provencale, tilapia served on a bed of ratatouille with feta cheese and fresh herbs....wonderful. Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food. Located on the...
