Pros: good portions, good service, location, affordability. The garlic omelette was delicious. They give you a free banana with your order. Cons: no lunch at breakfast, didn't look like there were a lot of vegetarian substitution options.

Great neighborhood place for breakfast. I frequent it often for breakfast. I've been for lunch before, but it's not a special lunch restaurant. I assume it's Greek owned. What that often indicates is that it's a well-run restaurant, they probably can get you some Greek foods not on the menu, but the rest of the menu is filled with about...

We've had breakfast and lunch a few times at Thyme and Honey and have neither been disappointed or overly-impressed. If you're looking for a consistent family restaurant at reasonable prices, this can be a good choice. But there's really nothing that stands out to us.
Food, service and menu were terrific. Ordered off the 'specials' and all 3 of is raved. Will be back! Parking in back makes this an extra plus in this part of town.
I eat here every Saturday, not because it's the best breakfast in the metro Chicago area, but because it's convenient. That said, it's a friendly place with a good variety of breakfast items. I can recommend the omelets, the waffles, and the French toast. The French toast is available in a full or half order, and made with thick or...

Great place with plenty of parking behind the building. We met some friends for breakfast there after finding this place on TripAdvisor. We would definitely return for another meal. Large menu for both breakfast and lunch. We were somewhat taken aback by the plate of bananas that appeared on the table halfway through the meal but I guess that is...

Breakfast was great. I went back a second day on my week long visit.
At last, a great quality breakfast! I had the infamous Garlic Omelette (suggested by friends and waitress) and all I can say is that I will definitely be back! The portion was definitely more than generous so I was able to enjoy it again, the next day! Who would ever think to put garlic in an omelette....me now!
My only...

I had been here several times before, but won't go back again after my last visit. I ordered an omelette and half way through just about gagged on egg shells. I brought it to the attention of my waitress, and her reply was that there was a new cook and her eggs that morning also had shells in them. Not...

I was delighted to see this restaurant commented upon after a general internet search. I was reading reviews of other restaurants in the Chicago are, and Thyme and Honey instantly came to mind. I I lived in Oak Park untli 2003 but certainly remember that place as one of my favorite "neighborhood" eateries. I loved it. Very comfortable on the...
