We've never had a bad meal here, but you certainly pay $ for it. Prices are higher than the surrounding area for comparable items. Loud music and lots of noise in seating area, hard to hold a conversation. Employees always courteous. Drive-up line usually circles the building.

We really enjoy going here. Hard to pass up the beef sandwich. Ask for it dipped (they take the whole sandwich and dip in in the juice before wrapping it) for an extra juicy sandwich. Hot dogs are good to and they have a really good ceasar salad. The decor is kitschy and fun and service is speedy.

Portillo's was a great way to experience Chicago Beef and Hot Dogs outside of the city.
