My daughter and I recently visited Chicago. As we were walking to another restaurant, we spotted "Heaven on Seven" and decided to check out the menu. Since we both love Cajun we just had to try it. We've been to New Orleans many times, and this is great gumbo. Thick and rich, with chicken and andouille. Appropriately spicy. I had etouffee with chicken, sausage, and shrimp served over cornbread. This restaurant is great. We found out about it because the guide on the Chicago tour bus recommended it for good, wholesome soul food.
