We walked to Portillo's from our hotel. Saw many interesting things along the way! Entered to find this restaurant with alot to absorb in memorabilia all over the place. Alot of history here! My daughter loved the hot dog she got with a dill pickle,tomato,and mustard. There are other options here: not just a hot dog place !

Chicago style , pickles, peppers, relish , tomatoes!! Fast service, orderly ordering process, many workers to keep wait to minimum!

Great food, but it doesn't compare to Gene & Jude's, which is now being rebuilt after they were flooded out. Don't do anything without the celery seed, and don't put ketchup on your hot dog in the city of Chicago. It's against the law here.

I'm a salt lover. The cheese fries at Portillos make this lady happy. I know most people go there for the Italian beef but I think their burgers are top notch. Best drive thru burger out there. Cooked to order and delicious! Onion rings are decent. I prefer to put cheese sauce on everything.
