My family and I ate at Sixteen for a birthday dinner and we knew it would be very nice, but were surprised with just how fantastic it was. From the time we sat down to dessert, the entire experience was perfectly orchestrated by the waitstaff. We were a little confused on what would be the best option to order (you... More

A beautiful dining room and a fabulous outside patio. Overlooks the Chicago River and Tribune clock Tower. I love the view. Menu is excellent, quiet dining room, elegant and excellent service.

Had lunch with a few business associates excellent food, great wine list and spectacular view. Would have given it 5 but service lacked a little and waiter tried to top off my wine from a newly opened bottle.

On a nice evening in Chicago there may not be a finer outdoor spot in town. Took some business associates from London, Nashville & Detroit here a few nights ago and as 1st-timers to this spot they were truly blown away. This is a very unique & cosmopolitan venue that can rival anywhere else you can think of in any... More

Decided to try breakfast at Sixteen due to the recommendations of other reviewers. Yes the view was wonderful, but...the food was good, but not fantastic. Mine was luke warm; be prepared - a breakfast for 2, including one entree each, orange juice and coffee was $70 without the tip! It wasn't worth $70.

My husband and I dined at Sixteen on May 4th. We did the full Spring tasting menu with the wine pairings - it was fantastic. Everything from the service, visual presentation (a terrarium for one of the plates!), and the taste and texture of the food was a delight to our senses. The waiters took great care to explain every... More

Had lunch at Sixteen to celebrate getting our marriage license. Outstanding service, food and views to die for. One of the best rooftop eateries and patios in town. Cocktails and food were great, I especially like there Lavander cocktail that was made with tequila.

We consider ourselves fortunate to have experienced some of the world's most highly acclaimed restaurants and choose the chef's tasting menu with wine pairings whenever it is offered. Our experience April 20th, 2013 at 16 in the Trump Chicago was absolutely the pinnacle fine dining experience! Actually I just wanted to see if I could get a good view from the floor where the Restaurant was. Leaving the elevator I was at the desk already so I asked if I could have just a coffee even if I was not a guest. And I could. But not only did I have nothing but a capuccino. I... More

Whenever I visit Chicago, I try to eat lunch at Sixteen, which is the best overall lunch experience in Chicago. When I say "overall" I am including the dining room, which I love because I have an affinity for high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. The view during the day is great and I would imagine even better at night. At... More
