This WAS a great place for breakfast/ lunch. Closed this summer. A new French Restaurant took its place. A welcome change from Valley Fare of beef, BBQ and Tacos.
We breakfasted outside on a lovely morning. Crowded, mostly locals, with a few lucky tourists mixed in. Lots of locals engaged us in friendly banter. Coffee and food excellent, but really, just the "vibe" that really puts it over the top for the Sun Dog.
The food was quite good except for some questionable nuts in a salad. The place was booming which made the service a bit slow. We may have just hit a particularly busy lunch, but it felt like an additional server would have be warranted.
Simple menu good prices, good wine selection, great quality and especially good deserts. Everything from this place has been good. We eat here at least once a week. Lunch and breakfast are the best in Victor. Service is good. Its like a neighborhood cafe with a bump up in quality.
Huge homeade breakfast croissant with thick bacon and fresh fruit for the yogurt and granola parfait. Nice atmosphere and interesting menu selections. The baked goods looked yummy as well.
My husband and I visit the Victor area several times a year. We always stop by the Sun Dog for breakfast, LOVE the vegetarian eggs benedict ~ delicious! Fish tacos for lunch are tasty too. Great patio and friendly staff.
As a local, I have eaten at the Sun Dog many times. Some things are great, while some things are really, really bad. All of the pastries and goodies? Awesome.
