To start with the negative, the Boise Olive Garden is very popular and that sometimes can mean a wait for a table. To their credit, they're very efficient in getting folks seated, and usually pretty accurate when they tell you how long the wait will be. For a chain restaurant, the food is actually quite good. They seem to work... More

It is easy to forget about little old Olive Garden among the host of other options / chains out there, but they just keep making great food and bringing nice bread before the meal. Tough to go wrong here. A very pleasant surprise.

I have a dairy allergy and since everything is made in Kansas or who knows where, my choices were limited, to say the least. The server was polite and appologized. I would never choose to go here, this was the one time I caved to popular demand. Hopefully, never again.

The food is typical of a franchise outfit - heavy on the pasta, light on good Italian toppings

Romance: Much too busy, packed etc. to be the go-to romantic spot. Meal/Dining: When dining here you can always expect an expansive menu that is constantly updated though. Also, if you're looking for a restaurant who is more than eager to help pair a glass of wine with an Italian meal then you've come to the right place. They offer... More

Thypical OG menu. I really like their food but it's the same every time.

Olive Gardens are everywhere, and we depend on them when traveling for a reliable, quality experience. Yes, it's a chain, and yes, some of the hospitality even feels corporate. BUT in Boise, my 100-year-old mother-in-law and her friend eat at Olive Garden at least three times a week. In addition to the usual "Welcome to Olive Garden," from the greeter,... More

It's very hard to find sit-in restaraunts that can make everyone in my family of six happy, but the Olive Garden in Boise is one of them. There's a wide variety of food, they happily modified a meal when requested and kept our bread basket full! We didn't have to wait long either!
