I recnetly visited the place. This place is good. I'm nit sure, but I belive, it is made from scratch, but still I'm not sure about that. My favorite is the meatloaf and pot roast. The staff is friendly, and the sevice is kind of fast. Overall, this is a great place to visit.

Downtown Grill can be reliably counted on to have good food, service, and atmosphere. Nothing grand, but nice and tasty. My favorite item is their blue cheese chips. The red snapper is delicious too. The service is friendly, but often slow. Love the location: close to theatre and good place to stop on the way to and from PTC/ATL.

We had shrimp and grits (Good but not great) and Tuna (great). The prices were good for a restaurant of this type and the menu choices were very good. This feels like an upscale restaurant that is only missing a few things that would make it great. Our seats were too close to the bar and it was noisy. Good... More

We were a little group of six persons on a hot, hot GA evening - hungry and hoping for a good meal and time with our friends. We were not disappointed! We were seated immediately and our waitress brought water right on the spot. She was very friendly and smiled a lot. She pointed out the wine menu and got... More

When in the Tyrone area on business my colleagues and I ate at the Downtown Grill twice for lunch and once for dinner. They have wonderful large salads, great steaks, burgers, etc. Each time the server was polite, very friendly, knowledgeable and competent. This is a fairly new building, but one could easily believe that it is 150 years old,... More

Hardly anyone goes to Tyrone for the fine dining, but once they try the appetizers and entrees at the Downtown Grill they will be back.

Great place for lunch or dinner. They are open from 11:00 am to closing daily, which makes it convenient to dine in your own time. Homemade potato chips with blue cheese is a must try. If you don't want the appetizer portion, you can get as a side! I've never had a bad meal, and staff is always pleasant!

An absolutely delightful restaurant with great ambiance, outstanding food, and an even better staff. This is truly one of the finest local restaurants in the area. It's refreshing to enjoy the attentive staff and the food is top shelf. An appetizer of homemade chips and a liberal drizzle of blue cheese begin a gourmet bonanza of several outstanding selections. It's one of the closest real restaurants near work for me. It's great to grab a quick soup and sandwich. Love the Reuben and French Onion Soup!
