Right on the beach. Good fried mushroom, fried shrimp, fried potatoe spuds n fried scallops. Yeah, we had all fried food that night! Not healthy but good!
I liked that it was right there at the beach and had that casual, fun beach atmosphere. The food was good, especially the spuds. They even brought us a bowl of melted cheese to dip our spuds in and that was awesome. Prices weren't bad and our waitress was great!
This is always one of the restaurants we choose on our now 17 trips to Tybee. A high standard of food quality, plenty of tables and quick service. I like the fried shrimp, and the fried mushrooms are great. I don't drink, but the bar customers always seem to have smiles on their faces! If a UGA team is playing,... More
We had the crab cake sandwich, fried shrimp, and chicken fingers... Everything was fresh ,local ,and delicious ! There is NO cheap seafood place but the prices here are better than most.

Our waiter Jance was remarkable, very friendly and attentive. The seafood... More
THE BEST LUNCH IN GA! We visited form CT and loved this place. Definitely get the SPUDS!!! Service was a bit slow but food was well worth it!
This could be a great place but the service really ruined it. Spuds were the best part. Rest of food was ok. Mentioned to the manager that the server was rude and he just made excuses for her.
I have to say that Spanky's Beachside has been a tradition for me and my husband for a loooong time. When we head to Tybee for the day there is only one place we eat lunch...Spanky's. The fried mushrooms and chicken fingers are incredible, and a nice cold, brew is always available. Casual atmosphere, awesome food!
My husband and I went here for dinner during our third trip to Tybee. We were pleasantly surprised at the beer selection; at least six different craft beers were on tap, with most of them being from local Savannah breweries. We both ordered seafood platters, including the blackened shrimp platter and the blackened shrimp/scallop platter. The seafood was cooked perfectly,... More
