R.J.'s is without a doubt a Statesboro tradition. My company has used R.J.'s to cater our holiday meal every year for the past 17 years. It's that good! The turkey, dressing and gravy are to die for! Sunday dinner here can't be beat!

I needed a place for a few hours to work with my sales associate and he recommended RJ's. We stopped by and sat a window table, the place shows its age but the service and food outpace most restaruants today. The breakfast tasted just like my mom cooked it and the price was ridiculously cheap..... our coffee was served in...

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews read here. The day we went, they had a buffet set up where you picked up your dessert and drink. You then ordered from the selections on the board. The fried oysters were plentiful and very good! The chicken gumbo on the buffet was great! We would definitely go back.
By far this is the best steak you will find - better than the franchise brand eaterys... check out the salad bar, fresh and good variety. Service is good too.
RJ's serves some of the best steaks in town... but that's not all! The Sunday lunch buffet is awesome! The food here is always good and the service follows suit!
Lunch and dinner at R.J.'s are good in a very honest way. The food is traditional, with no crazy names or exotic trimmings, but just good and honest quality. The steak and seafood here are quite good, and the prices have always been reasonable. Breakfast leaves a bit to be desired, but then again there is a different crew cooking...

I've eaten at RJ's for many many years. I tend to go for their Sunday lunch buffet which is far and beyond the best country style buffet I've ever had; not normally a big fan of Buffets. I love their soups (they usually have 4 types; a chili, oyster stew, a chicken noodle style and another.
We went for breakfast to enjoy the Snooky's breakfast menu after Snooky's closed last year. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the food was just as good. On weekends, the breakfast is a buffet, but we were there on a weekday. Nice local place - large restaurant with friendly staff.
The food was freshly prepared. Ate there for lunch and had a meat and two veggies for $5.95. It was excellent food and me and the family enjoyed everything we had! Great fried chicken!
It starts at the front door with friendly faces. The line moves quickly to place your order and the food arrives at your table in a timely manner, hot and delicious!
