What i ate was good but since i have visit it has reopen under new management so i have not re-visited.

A nice place with good food, but the service was poor, and I think the place is overrated for what you get.

We had already eaten, but stopped in right as they were opening. Friendly (I assume Manager) at the bar. They were putting out a happy hour spread of large shrimp. Drinks were good. Only complaint cable was out and opening ceremony of Olympics. We would return.

The building and what they have done with it is quite charming. Our service could not have been better. We both got a seafood dish served over rich, creamy grits. Delicious!

Service can be slow here but they are friendly. The food is excellent making this the place to be if slow but friendly service is acceptable. Excellent food quality well prepared. A shop owner in Madison said that the Icehouse did shrimp well. They did not have shrimp scampi and the shrimp pasta dish I ordered was mediocre. The service was slow and the server made us feel like she wanted us to leave quickly throughout the evening. Very unsatisfying!!

From the extra sweet hostess looking after my aged aunt, to the yummy chicken sandwich, to the free bonus chocolate strawberries ... This was a nice treat, and is recommended. They really care and are working hard to make a happy experience.
