I have eaten a couple of times in this restaurant, always with my family when we want to celebrate something. All the food I tried is very nice, in nice quite big portions, cooked very well, and using quality ingredients. The last time I went there I ordered snails as starter: they were very nicely cooked, then I had a... More

This review was originally written in English. The menu of this restaurant has not been dramatically changed over the years. And rightfully so! The quality of food is excellent, the service perfect and the location is top. The place is visited by many Spanish people (always a very good sign) and in summertime there are lucky foreigners that managed to... More

This was a great find when we stayed nearby. The food was exceptionally varied with dishes that you just had to try, like rabbits legs! The wines were good and complemented the catalen cooking. Great service in great surroundings. I do recommend, and I would return

On the last evening we spent in the Costa Brava area we ventured out into the cold dark night to the only restaurant we could find reference to that was near our hotel. We walked in with no reservation, off season and found this cozy little place - Absolutely charming setting as was the warm and friendly staff. The four... More

Highly recommend this classic restaurant set on the most adorable village with beautiful gardens and interiors. Great Spanish Catalan food with lot of local and regular clientele. Great place to stop off while sightseeing. Has parking.

It was an ok meal. Nothing special. I had the fish soup, no fish to be found. One mussel. The tast was ok. One salad, looked good. Tasted ok. The bread served was nice and warm. Afterwards we went to the museum, wich is included with eating there.

We had two memorable dining experiences on our last European vacation.... L'Avant Comptoire in Paris and Mas Pou in Costa Brava. After visiting the Dali museum in Figueres, we took an afternoon drive by the ancient town of Palau Sator and made a reservation for that night at Mas Pou as we were warned that this rather large restaurant, while... This restaurant is what transforms sleepy Palau Sator into a traffic jam every night. Mas Pou's parking is a labyrinth of parking spots, spanning several fields and it is a challenge to find a parking place. Mas Pou can seat easily over 150 people and when we were there it was filled to capacity (as they have different shifts, the... More
