Best Reuben I have eaten ever! Love it! Sitting by the river enjoying the scenery and that Reuben... We will be returning!
Thats all about Cafe International in Helen. The place is very nice, in front of the Chattahoochee, the atention was also good, but the food is the worst. I usually enjoy eating outside, and this was not an exception, but I recommend it only to drink a beer or just eat a simple sandwich in front of the river. It's...

however, the roast beef sandwich was really dry. the coleslaw was syrupy sweet. The pickled cabbage was actually good. Overall, the food is nothing to write home about. The location is nice because it's off the water. However I think there are better choices in the area.
Wonderful food.....great river view. This is the only place to have a Rueben. The wait staff is terrific (especially Connie), the food is delicious, the beer is cold, and the view is terrific. What more could one ask for?

The menu is not overwhelming but just the right of amount of selection to give you an International experience. I have never, in my years of coming here, had a bad meal or a bad experience. If...

Bulk pasta from Costco, Ragu sauce. Sauerkraut and "German" potato salad from a can. Uber greasy wursts. Sausage wasn't even cooked with the pasta, just placed on top.
Salsa from a jar, guacamole looked like the one you get in a pouch at the Walmart. Round store brand chips.
It's like bad bar food, not worth the price.
Service was...
