There are a number of ice cream shops in downtown Venice, but Ciao Gelato is by far the best! The gelato Is fresh, delicious, made on the premises - and the choices are different every day. They like to experiment and are always trying out new flavour combinations. They are always happy to let you sample flavours before you commit.... More

The ice cream is very good with a nice selection. The outdoor seating is fun. It's right on the street with fun people watching.

We took the kids here while shopping in the downtown Venice area. Nice mom and pop type of shop. The kids each had a variant of chocolate- both excellent chocolate flavor and smooth, creamy consistency. Sampled the "rose" flavor gelato and it provided a nice light berry flavor with the finish of rose water- really unique!

I've had the Gelato several times now and the flavor selection just keeps getting better. We frequently have lunch and dinnner on the Ave and this makes a great spot to stop afterwards! Try it, you'll love it!

We stopped by this little shop per a recommendation from friends. Found out the owners are fellow buckeyes. The gelato is delicious and the selection is varied every day. We came here once. The service was good and the gelato was excellent. The location is good as well, right on the main drag with all the other shops.

The flavors and service say it all. Great location on the Blvd. Snickers and Almond Joy were AWSOME. if u haven't stopped in yet, you're missing out on a delicious treat. Its officially become my families tradition on our Spring Break to FL!
