This is a very small place, but has great employees and the best Cuban Sandwiches you will find anywhere. The people are always friendly and make you feel like family when you go there. I go there every time I come to this area in Florida and I highly recommend This great place.

Just spent the holiday weekend at Treasure Island and had lunch from this restaurant twice. Excellent bread, authentic pressed cuban sandwiches. Drop by or call in courteous friendly service and great food. Try the black beans and rice bowl yum!

My sister and I ate here last week during our visit to Treasure Island. I read the reviews beforehand and could not wait to eat here! The Cubans are big and we split a 12 inch and it was more than enough. Very good sandwich and the bread is awesome. We also got an order of rice & beans. They were... More

The Floridian was on my bucket list of places to visit on our trip to St. Petersburg as I was aware of its reputation. We planned our trip around three baseball games at Tropicanna Field and knew that we would likely be trying Cuban sandwiches there. Believe me there was no comparison (at half the price). The crunch of the... More

The Floridian on Treasure Island is on our "must do" list when in the Tampa Bay area. The Cuban sandwiches are my personal favorite and I'll rate them higher than any other I've ever had, including The Columbia in Ybor City.

Always consistently good. I have tried the Cuban, roast turkey, salami, and roast beef. Outdoor seating. I would recommend for a decent sandwich at a reasonable price for lunch.

Food was pretty good, but we were expecting something a bit different. Rice and beans are just so-so. Bean soup is not very good. Sandwiches were delicious, but a bit salty for our taste. To bad overall, with definite bang for your buck.

We almost missed this place, it is a small restaurant that specializes in huge sandwiches, especially Cuban. My husband had a 10" Cuban and I had a Cuban Reuben. Delicious! They had combos and different sized sandwiches. Excellent!

We have been here many times and think they have the best Cuban sandwiches on the beach. Their sides of beans and rice and soups are very good too. You can order large sandwiches and cut them in small slices for a great party platter. Just call in your order and it will be ready for pick up.
