This restaurant is a a place to experience - the food is has a lot of latin flavor with the cuban sandwiches to the rice and beans. There is an additional fee that you can pay to see the flamenco dancers while you eat your meal. We take a lot of our out of town friends to the Ybor location.

I went to this restaurant 4 times in 3 1/2 weeks - that's how great I thought it was! Twice I was at the one in Sand Key and twice at the one in St. Armands Circle. The service at both locations was excellent - the wait staff is knowledgable and friendly without being overbearing. The grouper is outstanding as... More

Loved the ambience, flamenco dancers and the food. The salads are truly delicious and I forgot what I had for the main course but it was scrumptious.

I recently celebrated my Son's college graduation and decided to have a group luncheon. The Columbia was the perfect resturant. Our waiter was outstanding and became an honorary memeber of the group. The sangria was tasty and tapas were wonderful. We tried everything from chicken, beef and seafood and all the guests were pleased with their selections. The bread was... More

With 7PM reservations, we arrived to a very noisy, crowded restaurant, with graduation parties and pre-prom dinners. These events consisted of many multiple tables pushed together all over the restaurant and everyone trying to be heard over the din. We were promptly seated, however. We had our heart set on the Paella but our server indicated that the normal 30-40... More

In Tampa for our sons graduation and facing a free day, we chose to stop at ybor city. I love places with character and history and decided to try Columbia Restaurant. Over 100 years old this place has great Spanish and Cuban food at great prices! Large portions and wonderful atmosphere. Good service too. We liked it so much that... More

By far one of our favorites! We have been many, many times and have never been disappointed! There are so many great menu items...the Deviled Crabs, Boliche, the Paella, The Ropa Vieja, the 1905 salad, the list goes on and on! And oh don't forget the most amazing Sangria you will ever taste, the Sangria De Cava! The interior is... More

My husband and I came to Tampa for a business meeting recently. We both love Cuban food so at the top of our list was finding an excellent Cuban restaurant to visit while in this area that is so well known for it. After Googling "Best Cuban restaurants in Tampa," we stumbled on the Columbia in Ybor City time and... More
