Lived nearby and ate at the bus at least once a week. Take out is great - lots of choice and everything's fresh. The girls who take the orders are fantastic. Limited seating outside. Eating inside was also good.

Saw this on DDD and knew we were heading to Tampa - had to check it out. Fun and funky. We actually went there after arriving and before departing FL. Nice staff.
Don't come here if you expect 5* dining - this one is behind a building in a parking lot next to another bus. You can eat here or...

The Taco Bus Staff is always interesting (especially at the location in St. Pete). Always friendly and knowledgeable. Pretty decent food. Very unique concept.
I lived in Tampa for a year for college. People would rant and rave about this spot all the time. I looked it up and drove there one random day when I had a hankering for some Mexican. Now I'm from Md (closer to the dc side) and had never had authentic mexican cuisine before. .anyway as I'm driving I...

If you're looking for a traditional restaurant, don't come here. If you're looking for good Tex-Mex served in a unique way, then by all means hit the Bus! Undoubtably off the wall, don't be fooled by the hodge-podge layout of the place - the food is organized and good! Did I mention fair priced? Cuz it is!
Good Food, Very inexpensive, and super-friendly service. I'm a bit of a gourmand, the quality of the ingredients is excellent, everything is very fresh and quite tasty. Overall I found the Burrito Carne Asada and the chicken taco to be slightly dry. Now this is possibly because they are using very lean meats, but I need my tacos/burritos juicy. They...

Great Tacos - good, quality product.
Its unbelievable how difficult it can be to get a really good taco.
Not a lot of ingredients but it always hard to find a place that does it right. This place does - they started with a food truck and now have a couple of different locations and they're consistently good. I hope...

This place might have been great when it was a food truck but it lost soul and flavor when it became a brick and mortar with franchises.
The food sucked! It shouldn't be a complaint when your tacos are over filled with meat and you can't fold them into your mouth, but when the barbacoa is dried and fatty you...

Delicious, fresh and fun! I love the whole concept of the food truck. The Taco Bus is no exception. I wish there was one a bit closer to where I live. I would make it a weekly visit.
We had the tacos. I liked having a choice of toppings but the tacos were bland. Red sauce was like ketchup and the green sauce too hot. I did not like the tortillas either. With the high reviews this restaurant gets I expected better.
