Lunches run from $10-15 with Grouper at $12.95 and the mouthwatering Chilean Sea Bass at $14.95. These prices include a fresh attractive salad bar. Evening prices are $5 more than lunch. The restaurant is adjacent to the Sarasota Airport; fresh fish is flown in daily. I eat here once or twice a week; the food is consistently good and I... More

This used to be a great place to eat. On this trip, I should have been concerned when we arrived at 5pm and only 5 other cars in the lot. Greated at the host station by a kid in blue jeans and tennis shoes looking unprofessional. The inside of the restaurant seemed dark and dingy. Waitress was fine, did ok... More

We have eaten here several times over the past few years. It is not a fancy or toney place. The food is excellent and a great bargain. More

Captain Brian's reminds you of a mom-and-pop place; simple furnishing with really pleasant wait staff. I believe we have had the hostess every time we have gone there for lunch the past 5-6 years. As with so many places, it is better to go early for lunch if you want to avoid the rush and get a table upon arrival.... More

We stopped at this spot due to the number of vehicles parked around it on Monday mid day. The place is not much for atmosphere, and a bit down at the heels. Seafood is good and the burger was good as well. Salad bar is small, but adequate. Large aquarium in the middle of eating area. More

I went to "Captain Brian Restaurant & Market" last year & this year, again, but not for the "Decor". The restaurant is "dated" (about 30 years ago!!!), but for the fresh seafood one could buy @ their Market. Last year the Seafood chowder was excellent: big chanks of lobster, fish, shrimps! This year, small pieces & was not good anymore!... More

We went to this place almost hidden in Sarasota, close to the airport and Hilton Garden nice hotel almost taking a chance and ended-up with one of the best fish restaurant experience of our trip! Very fresh fish prepared and served, kid's menu available. Very friendly service and you feel at home. There is a big fish tank inside that... More
