We had a really nice dinner when staying at a nearby hotel in September. We almost missed this place as it was tucked away right at the end of fishermans up on the second floor and didnt look from the outside that it would be that great. There were hardly any guests but this was probably due to the dreadful... More

The service was great! Husband and son's food were great mine was a little bland for me. The desserts were even better. The view was beautiful when it stopped raining. We all had seafood mine with veal. The vegetables were not very appetizing and the salad bar was fine.

The food was average. Nothing to write home about, but nothing glaringly wrong either. It was fine dining pricing for middle of the road food. All 3 in our party were satisfied with the meals (2 seafood medleys and 1 rack of lamb), but all commented that nothing really stood out and that they expected more for the price. Had... More

We had a good meal with a splendid view of the water with outside seating. Service was good and the atmosphere was one of moderate noise and a fun crowd of diners and bar patrons.

I have weakened and returned to this place several times over the years. Why I don't know? Went again yesterday with friends that have not been before and what a mistake it was. The prime rib was not so prime time but wife could not stomach the slime they smothered it with as I even found it hard to look... More

We enjoyed the Captains Table!! The food, location and service were excellent. The Sunset was amazing as always. The staff was courteous and made the visit very enjoyable. The only thing I would note is that it could use a little updating as it is kind of old.

We ate here on a Friday night and enjoyed a simply wonderful sunset. The waiter was very attentive and especially polite. The place appears to be catering for an upscale dining experience, yet the facility feels a little "seafood shacky". The food itself, we had the seafood buffet. A very nice collection of seafood, from salmon to oysters in the... More

Last evening, my husband and I had dinner on the outdoor patio of The Captain's Table Restaurant in Punta Gorda, Florida. The view from the patio, which provides a panoramic perspective over Charlotte Harbor, is spectacular, but what really stood out was the meal itself. I ordered the BBQ Pork Tenderloin. My husband had the Seafood Pasta di Mare. My... More

We came up from Naples to meet friends from Sarasota and they picked the restaurant this time. It was fancier than I would wanted but we ate outside on the deck with great view and weather. Service was a little sketchy but friendly and they tried hard. I had the prime rib, which was large but lacking in something. They... More

Dined at the Captain's Table with my husband and my parents. This restaurant has a remarkable ocean view and we were there during sunset which was a lovely way to start our vacation. Our reservation was for 7pm and it was quite busy when we arrived so it took some time before they could seat us. Once seated, our waiter... More
