When we want great Italian food, Donato's is the best in the county.The mussels bianco are fanatastic. I have tried to duplicate but the sauce is indescribable. If you are in Port Charlotte, you have to try this restaurant!

This is a definate must go if you are in the area....wish I lived closer because it would be a regular place for me to dine. The food, wine, atmosphere, service were all excellent. Don't miss it!

My parents go this restaurant regularly and recommended it. We were not disappointed! Really liked the decor with the star-studded ceiling and trees. Our waitress was very attentive. Great food. Had a wonderful dinner with friends. The decor was great, made to look like you are walking thru a outside garden. The wait staff were all working very hard and were all very pleasant.
