Awesome beachfront location. From the parking attendant to the bartender and the wait staff, fabulous customer service. Very kid friendly, huge menu selection. Afterwards walk out and watch the sunset over the Gulf.

Four of us enjoyed dinner at The Mucky Duck on our first night in Captiva. It was quite busy, so we sat on the patio and had drinks during the short wait. They had a live band, an outdoor bar, and plenty of seating, including Adirondack chairs, for watching the sunset.
Dinner ranged from average to very good. One of...

They have the corner on location & view. Our table certainly had view. I had the red snapper special and had trouble sharing even a bite with my husband it was so good. Vegetables were crisp (I'm picky about my veggies. If I can mash them with a fork, I'm NOT happy). Our server was pleasant and attentive. Of the...

Location, location, location......the Mucky Duck lies at the end of Andy Rosse Lane squeezed up against the sea oats on the dunes and the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico. Hundreds flock there daily to watch sunset and enjoy a drink and the ambiance and to have lunch or dinner. On our most recent visit we lucked out on a Sunday and...

Parking attendant was not very friendly. After being told to circle the parking lot until a spot opened up we made one last trip around the small parking lot to see the Parking lot attendant guiding a car into a NO PARKING area. After asking why that person was given Preferential Parking, the attendant told us we needed to Read...

Every visit to Captiva includes a lunch at the duck. New paved parking lot is more inviting than past. I get the duck fingers and wife a fish dish, we're not dissappointed. Wait staff has fun with diners - ask for a "window seat".

Good crab cake and grouper sandwiches. Lovely location overlooking the sea at Captiva. Hated the paper plates and small plastic cutlery which was the price you pay for eating outside, I'm assuming they have proper crockery/cutlery inside. Didn't appreciate the Neanderthal in the car park barking at us as soon as we got out of the car that there was...

My wife and I went there because we enjoy a laid back atmosphere on the water. Let me just say the overall experience was fantastic. I had the Grouper de Paris which was wonderful and my wife had coconut shrimp that she loved. We had a nice table by the window, which I would recommend, looking over water. Should be...

There's always a crowd at the Mucky Duck. If you don't mind the noise, it's a fun place to eat. The food is good, and the beach is just steps away. Parking can get hairy, especially at night, but persistence pays off. Worth a try.

$12.95 for the best grilled salmon that I had have for a while; so moist and fresh, and my plate was covered with cantalopes, strawberries, grapes, and pineapple. We had a wonderful waitress.
Great view, excellent food and service. What else one could ask for?
Parking is tough for those who drove their cars. They're closed between 3 and 5.
