Adelheidi's Organic Sweets

505 5th Ave South, Naples, FL

Ranked #7 of 626 restaurants in Naples
Cuisines: Bakery, French, Ice cream
Dining options: After-hours
Description: Adelheidi’s might make one think of a little girl climbing an Alpine mountain and picking flowers while visiting her grandfather’s house. And yes, all frozen desserts are old-world handcrafted and entirely from scratch. But if you look closer you quickly find Adelheidi’s wild and state-of-the-art side: Gelato, Fruit Ices and Frozen Yogurt come in such imaginative flavors as Strawberry-Basil, Chocolate-Lavender, Mango-Chili, White Rose and Cardamon, as well as timeless favorites Vanilla Bean, Strawberry and Peanut Butter. You’ll taste the difference as the ingredients are ALL ORGANIC with NO TOXINS or ADDITIVES. Adelheidi’s motto is well expressed in Oscar Wilde’s quote “I’m a man of simple tastes. I’m always satisfied with the best.”Frozen desserts: gelato, ice cream, frozen yogurt, fruit ice, sorbets, milkshakes, smoothies. Everything is made fresh daily on the premises on the basis of our proprietory recipies. What you can find is the best and cleanest taste that is possible or simply the best frozen desserts in the world. You can also enjoy all organic coffee. Add gelato and have an Afogato or Eiskaffee. We started January 15, 2011 with our shop on 5th Ave as we have not found what we wanted for us and especially for our kids. Everything we found was made with corn syrup, Aspartam, artificials, chemicals, toxins. As we were used to organic food we always struggled with a chemical and poor taste with whatever we had.On the other hand we only found retail ice cream or yogurt or products made in a convenient manner by using powder mixes and cheap chemical treats. From our point of view noone really took care for a good and responsible product. And it seems that the customer did not care about ingredients.

We saw this adorable old timey but pretty pink shop late Wednesday night. It was so cute with lots of neat snacks and toppings. I got organic chai gelato that was FANTASTIC! The girl that worked there was so nice to us and we only wish we'd found it earlier in the week on our honeymoon. Loved this place!

Just returned to UK after two weeks in Naples. The afternoon highlight most days was to sample yet another combination of flavours of what must be the most gorgeous ice cream ever. I particularly liked the pistachio while my wife loved the herb yoghurt. Great stuff wonderfully served by lovely and friendly staff. Plus! Great music playing although I would... More

Delicious ice creams and sorbets! Great variety, great tastes, excellent quality, most friendly service! Went there 3 times; if only I’d stay in Naples a bit longer, I’d try the entire collection of their ice creams and sorbets. My personal recommendation is strawberry-basil sorbet. Try it, it’s simply delicious.

Skip the other ice cream wannabes and make your way to Adelheidi’s. This is true gelato as its meant to be; not too much sugar, no air, and creamy. Mocha was my favorite. Dilemma, how to get soft gelato home? Not a problem, Marion pulled two tubs from the freezer and packed everything in a cooler (thank you). Quality ingredients... More

We regularly drop in to Adelheidis for a pint of Gelato, Yoghurt is our favorite, but the berry flavors and the vanilla bean are fantastic. Recently i tried their Lemon sorbet, it was stunning, remarkable, incredible, try it. I reccomended that they do a Florida Orange sorbet. I may jump on my bike and see if they did. If you... More

Absolutely the most delicious dessert in Naples. Amazing flavors! Even the kids liked it better than Ben & Jerry's. They let you try whatever flavors you want before making your final selection.

A great selection of gelato. In all we tried key lime chilli, salted caramel, hazelnut, choc chip, dirt, vanilla and 3 others I can't remember. The salted caramel was worth the trip on its own! Well worth a visit

So I went here again while visiting Naples this year in February. The gelato is just as good as I remember from my visit last year. What an excellent treat on a hot sunny day while shopping g and walking around Naples. I had a little dish of cinnamon gelato....it is incredible! Stop here....you will love it! And the people...
