The portions are big and the variety of sides and homemade desserts are big. Their breakfast is also delicious.

Yummy pork! Sides were excellent. Delicious potato salad, collard greens and cole slaw! Staff was very courteous.

The breakfasts are good; made at the counter and very casual seating. This is mostly a gas station/convenience store, but a life-saver when there are no other restaurants for miles.

I got takeout twice from Pearl's while I was in the area for a few days. Chicken and pork dinners were very good with large portions, be sure to try the the green beans (cooked with bacon and onions). Staff were very friendly and prices for staples were reasonable. Gas however ran about .25/gallon more than neighboring towns, so I... More

Yes, the BBQ is good, but watch the gas pumps. First of all, the gas is way over-priced and secondly the pumps will often START at 50 or 60 cents.

Always friendly, homey, bar-b-q is good. I like the atmosphere, but it may be a little to home-spun for some. It is kind of like a honky-tonk, but no drinking.

At first I thought we were in a convenience store but made our way to the back where we ordered our food. I didn't know how I felt about eating on paper plates and plastic cups, but I ordered ribs and was in love. Everything I ate was so good. I would definitely go back....

The food was average at best. Not one of those places that I would return to. Don't order the mac and cheese. Very bland. Meat was tender, but had to really put on alot of sauce.

The BBQ here is simply off the chain good! The pork literally will melt in your mouth.Go at lunch time or they may run out of pork..It is that good.No visit to Micanopy is complete without a stop at Pearls for BBQ.

After some disappointing BBQ at another local Gainesville location and at a highly-rated BBQ place in Tampa, we returned to Pearl Country (3rd visit) to see if it lived up to our memory. It did. If you've never been here before be prepared: Pearl Country Store is the local mini-market attached to a gas station in the small, rural town... More
