We visited here May 3, 2013. The food was very good. Typical Latin dishes spiced perfectly. Portions were more than adequate and priced reasonably. Drinks were priced a little higher than other establishments in the same area.

I was down in Miami for the day with my girlfriend. Although she is originally from Germany; she wanted a Cuban sandwich. Go figure. LOL Anyhow, I have a good friend on the Miami-Dade Police Department, and we called him. He suggested that we meet him at this place. He said he eats here often. No regrets on my part,... More

We had a quick dinner of sandwiches and cuban coffee. Both the Cuban and the Media Noche ("midnight") sandwiches were outstanding!

In Miami for a few days and just happened to notice this place and pulled in. Great breakfast with cafe con leche (strong coffee with hot milk!). Would go again if in town.

So the arroz moro was amazing, pork and everything, but the roasted pork was overcooked. The prices wasn't horrible I just wish the food were better. I would find a better place and worth travelling for.

I chose this place based on recommendation of hotel front desk personnel and its location just across the street. It appeared to be locals rather than tourists eating here which is always a good sign. Breakfast two eggs, potato, 5 slices of bacon, big glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee was $10.66. Service was good and I may... More

went here for lunch with my sister, nice atmosphere and great midnight sandwich for less than $6, we also had the roasted vegetables, and they were quite bland, and seemed more like boiled than roasted, but overall i think it's worth a visit

...is my new favorite dessert. I ate here twice today (its right across from the hotel, and is yummy) my first meal was the appetizer mixed plate. The piccadillo stuffed tostones were great, the pork chunks were outstanding, the potato croquettes pretty good. I wasn't a fan of the tamal, but that is my own preference. The fresh squeezed juice... More
