I was vacationing in Miami with my wife and we decided to get some local food as we don't get Cuban food in San Diego. We stopped at this restaurant and were very pleased with the service, food, prices, atmosphere, ... This scene took me back to my young days in a hispanic neighborhood in New Jersey. My wife and... This is my second visit to Versailles Restaurant and once again, no disappointment in the food here. I had the Plantain Soup to start with, and it is delicious. For my entree I had the "Boliche" Cuban Style Pot Roast, another winner. The service is impeccable and the restaurant was very clean. A winner in my book.

Ditto : The waiter could not understand me.. They should have had a sign that says Speak spanish. They took a long time to get me an English speaking person.. Not a good experience.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by coincidence while searching a place for a breakfast. It is charming with its old looks. Kinda like a diner from the 80's but its has a nice atmosphere. Cuban toast was amazing and cafe con leche tasty and STRONG. Food is not at all expensive, very taste at the same time. Waiter gave us... More

My favorite Cuban Restaurant....the coffee, the food, the service is superb!!!!! I used to live in Florida so I used to visit this restaurant about 2-5 times a month and it never failed. Now that I live in NYC I find myself reminiscing about this restaurant. I just revisited since I am in Florida for a week.....I love this place!!!!

We went for lunch to compare American Cuban food with food we have had on trips to Cuba. The food here was tasty, authentically Cuban with American portion sizes. The restaurant is large and busy, so the opportunities for people watching are excellent. The ambiance is rushed diner style, which is unappealing, but the food and people watching more than... More

We went to Versailles on a friend's recommendation. It reminds me of a old- fashioned diner with a good mix of locals and families. The waitress was excellent and made great suggestions. The ceviche was the best ever. Pork and pot roast dishes melted in your mouth. Finished it off with dulce de leche and tres leches...sweet,but delicious.

I was expecting a lot lot better. I've been told by every Cuban friend to go to Versailles. The food was extremely salty and average quality. The plantains and beans were the only standout. We ordered a sampler and Cuban breaded steak. Both were average. I was really disappointed. I would go back to give it another shot if I... More

You get exactly what you would expect from this legendary restaurant. Tourists from all over the world come here to taste the best cuban food in town. Breakfast is served until 11:30 a.m. and you must have the cuban toast with cafe con leche. I love their omelette made with chorizo, onions, and cheese. For lunch my favorite meal is... More
