We decided to give Captain Briens restaurant a shot and found the service and food spot from the appetisers to the entrees to the great cocktails. The service was very good even-though the restaurant was very busy. We will return next year.

They are not like many other restaurants on marco that wants to give the customer what they want. If it wasn't for the hotels across the street they would be out of business. Most of locals know to skip this resturant prices very high food less than average

Had the crab cocktail and crab cakes which were both delicious and very fresh. Can not comment of the rest of the food but after reading all the other reviews we were quite please with the meal. The drinks were way too sweet and we wanted to touristy drink with the shark-that the failed to mention did not have the... More

Where to begin-- we decided to eat here because the Mexican restaurant next door was an hour wait and my family was hungry. The best part of our visit was the shrimp and lobster bisque. It had a good flavor and a good amount of meat in it. For dinner, the seafood platter with grouper, shrimp, scallops and crab cakes... More

Coconut shrimp are very large even though you get about 5. Tasty! My dad loved the clam chowder. We had the beef sandwich very delicious.. Our waiter was very attentive, as well. We will be back. In the past, we have had the coconut grouper for dinner. It was amazing. Not sure if it is still on the dinner menu... More

Situated across the road. This was my favourite, the fresh fish lobsters, giant prawns and oysters were the best. Ate here a few times and it was first rate for my wife and I.

Our 3rd time here. Fast, friendly and good food. A fun place for couples, and family. Dinner was good, fresh, and the dessert was tasty too.

My family and I ate at Capain Brien's while on vacation in Marco Island. The food and service were nothing special, just okay. One thing to note is that my daughter orders chicken fingers everywhere we go, however, she hated the chicken fingers here. I tried them as well and they were not good... too greasy and soggy.

We are staying at the Hilton Beach and Spa resort on Marco Island. Captain Brien's is located across the street along with several other establishments. We had not read any reviews on it prior to deciding to dine there. We sat in the optional outdoor seating. Erin had the lobster roll with a Blue Moon and I had the Angus... More
