Good for big crowds, beer and TV. Wings were just OK, nothing great. This is on Restaurant row and many other places to choose from. I'd have to pass on this one next trip.
We visited the Gainesville Ale House after having been to several in Florida. It was great and an excellent value. We had twin lobster tails, the seafood bake, filet mignon and the zinger melt plus captain jacks buried treasure and nutty brother. Plus drinks- the total bill was just over $110 which included the tip! We enjoyed football Saturday and... More
The portions are big on size, small on taste. Had salmon that was done correctly, baked potato had very earthy potato taste. Salad was average. Friend had veggie burger and said it was similar to rrozen patties. Sangria had fruit flies in it. Waitress was pleasant and food came out quickly. Atmosphere is standard for sports bar that tries to... More
Went here for dinner with the family because there is something on the menu for everyone. Burgers, salads, brisket sandwich and fajitas were all tasty, and the price was reasonable.
This place is great, they have quality tvs. Every nfl game is on a tv. The price is good for all budgets, plenty of selections of beer, full liquor menu. Staff is excellent whether your sitting outside or inside.
Our servant Charlie was very pleasant. enjoyed the outdoor seating. i had southwestern steak salad and fiancé had their Sunday special 20 shrimp/ sausage in diablo sauce with pasta. Both meals very good. Pasta was great but spicer than my fiancé expected. Otherwise very nice.
Fish and chips were quickly served. Soggy and server too busy to care. Perhaps if we had a friendlier server I wouldn't have minded that the food was so so. Won't go again.
The food was delicious, the manager and the food servers were excellent. I would like to commend Marianne (our waitress). She was delightful and helpful. The manager visited our table and "comped" my clam chowder because it came out late. I thought this was very decent of him. The Mahi Piccata was delicious! So why did I rate this restaurant... More
imAngelfish, apologies on the bartender at Gainesville. If you were unhappy with an item, it should have been replaced; without paying for it. I'm not sure when the manager got involved, but I would like to think the manager would have taken care of this (as the clam chowder). Please know that service is one of our key points and... More
