We ate out a lot while visiting ft Myers. Of all the places we went this was my least favorite. Could be because they are getting ready to close for the season and we were told they were out Of lot of stuff (like jack Daniels!). My mom and aunt, who are from new Orleans got the "new Orleans style... More

This is not a fancy restaurant but one goes for some of the freshest seafood around. We shared a salmon patty (tender and tasty and made with fresh salmon) as an appetizer. Get the caesar salad (anchovies optional) to begin your meal, always done well. The snapper francaise ($22) was a filet sauted in an egg batter and topped with... More

This is not a fancy restaurant and the dining room is more reminiscent of those I visited as a child with my parents, notty pine panelling and lots of aquariums. Go for the food and service both of which are absolutely top notch. We have always had servers who genuinely know the menu and specials and do a great job... More

My husband caught a bunch of tuna down in the keys. They seared it for us and it was FANTASTIC! We are in Ft Myers alot and everyone was always telling us to go here. The thing that stopped me was no view. WOW, was I impressed. Its nice to go to a place that the waitress and owners care... More

I was in Fort Myers Beach with my cousin for a get away vacation. We had dinner at the Fish Monger, and were so glad that we went over the bridge to try the place. We were actually looking for a nother restaurant, but missed the entrance, passed by the Fish Monger and went in. We were glad we did.... More

My husband & I were visiting in Cape Coral Fl. in Jan. & Feb. We wanted to have a seafood meal & The Fish Monger was recommended to us. The atmosphere is warm & friendly & the service excellent! Our server Donna was wonderful & very helpful with her recommendations. She informed us that the reason the restaurants fish is... More

During our recent stay in Fort Myers, Florida, we dined at the Fish Monger Restaurant, which is located just before the bridge entering the Fort Myers Beach "Time Square" area. If you're looking for the restaurant while driving, keep a sharp eye out for the establishment because the sign is directly on the side of the building and not terribly... More

It's not much to look at from the road, but this is a place not to miss. If you seek fresh seafood in a relaxed, old school decor, outstanding & friendly service, at a fair cost - the Fish Monger is it! From the boat dock to their kitchen is a daily parade of fresh shrimp, crab, oysters, grouper, snapper... More

My husband and I both had the specials. I had the stone crab and he had the porgy. Service was fast and friendly. The food was to die for! We were recommended here by the front desk staff at our hotel. The decor is dated, but the food is heavenly! The key lime pie is a must!

since they have their own boat, and the catch appears on the menu a few hours after being caught. Not fancy inside, a bit dated but comfortable with one room lined with aquaria; look for a coupon in the beach papers and on their web site. The hostess and waitress were both friendly. Hot fresh bread served with your meal.... More
