Went to Merge for our 1 year anniversary. Went the night before our anniversary and figured we would go to The Ritz for the day of (save the special place for last) But Merge was so incredible we went 2 nights in a row. We had the best steak I have ever eaten. Chef Adam was super friendly and had... More

The food is very good. It is a few blocks out of town, so not quite as touristy. Te ambiance leaves a bit to be desired. However, the food is well prepared and makes the trip worthwhile.

Merge was practically empty on the Saturday night we went. Didn't have our first two choices of wines and the place was very friendly but had an amateur feel about it.......however the food made up for any shortcomings. The filet was especially incredible.

My wife and I had a terrific dinner. The food was truly amazing. Great seafood and an otherwise great menu with a broad selection. My wife stated it was the best she had had in a very long time. Going back tonight again. Fine something really good, stick with it.

We called "day of" and received a reservation. The restaurant is located close to downtown and was each to find, less than 15 minutes from our Lodge. Service was attentive and prompt. We shared an appetizer of fried green tomatoes and local steamed shrimp with a spicy sauce, delicious! I chose scallops with broccoli rabe, gnocchi, and mushrooms. It was... More

Who would have thought that a little place in an asphalt parking lot on a state road would offer some of the best cuisine in the area? We had heard great things about Merge, but somehow could not bring ourselves to have a special night out, with log trucks on the neighboring road. So glad we overcame our qualms and... More

My wife and I dined here for our second wedding anniversary. We had read the good reviews and made it a point to visit on our trip to Amelia Island. The restaurant is small and simple, the meal was not! We started with the escargot in puff pastry which was warm and reminiscent of biscuits and gravy; the lobster deviled... More

This place looks like it could be in NYC or LA. It is certainly a 'Merge' - maybe of New Age meets Southern or Seafood meets French. Whatever - it works. Food was good and prices fair.

We had a fantastic dinner with friends at Merge. The meal blew away anything we had in Amelia, including anything we had at the Ritz, where we stayed for 5 days. My steak was delis, and the lamb shank, which a friend had, looked like Barney Rubble should have been eating it. It was MASSIVE and fell off the bone... More

I know why Merge is one of the top-rated restaurants in Fernandina Beach! The chef is bursting with creativity and so friendly, making you feel right at home. My son had grouper, I had a veal loin, and my husband had salmon. All were cooked perfectly with beautiful sauces and sides. This chef could make it in Chicago or another... More
