Our first visit was memorable. We were a party of 8 that tried 7 different entrees and everyone reached the same conclusion - excellent food. The bruschetta and calamari were a great start as was the freshly baked bread. The house chicken specialty was very a great choice in a light red wine sauce. The lasagna was every bit as...

This restaurant is in a new location of a former Italian restaurant , we went on a Wednesday night without reservations but arrived early. The appetizer was wonderful, the main course was almost as good, wine list was pricey so we had beer instead. Have eaten in many Italian restaurants both stateside and in Italy and this is without a...

It's been a year since the last time we dined here. The last time, they were in a strip mall in Yulee. This time, it was a stone's throw from our hotel in downtown FB. We got there pretty early on Saturday evening and the place was already pretty full. We got the last table outside. I think outside dining...

Food
The food was great, the starters were ok as there's not a lot you can do wrong with a salad!

My friend and I were looking for a light dinner and Ciao Bistro was recommend to us. The outside seating was filled so we strolled in and we were made welcome at the bar. there is indoor seating but we were quite happy to sit at the bar. Ciao moved from Yulee to downtown Fernandina Beach. Located near the water, you can sit in or outdoors. The food is fantastic, the staff are top notch and the atmosphere is bistro fun. The prices are very fair. Wine other than their house is a bit expensive. Portions are large so sharing may make sense. Highly recommended!!
Went out for dinner with my Mother and sister on a beautiful Monday night. We had a lovely meal. Ciao is always busy, so we arrived at 5:50 and sat outside on their patio which over looks Centre Street. By 6:30 the patio was packed. I ordered the beet Gorgonzola salad and my sister the Caesar salad with sun dried...

We have had this experience 3 times now and won't give the option of having it happen again. Three times we have had a reservation for this restaurant and all three times stood waiting for our table and watched the owner greet, hug and kiss, a party of his "regular" customers and give away our table. The first time was...

My husband & I were with our out-of-town daughter &her husband on this visit. The first thing I noticed was that were no longer white table clothes but bare table tops instead, reminding me of a picnic table effect with the individual slats design. I ordered water w/lemon and had to ask for the lemon a second time. Upon reviewing...
